The Mahjong House was founded by Stacey White, whose love for the game began in 2018 when she joined a local Mahjong class because the bridge classes were full. She met a group of nine players back then, and they still gather every Thursday to this day. During the pandemic, Mahjong became a lifeline, as Stacey and her group continued to play on Zoom every day, proving that the game can connect us even during challenging times.
