The Mahjong House was founded by Stacey White, whose love for the game began in 2018 when she joined a local Mahjong class because the bridge classes were full. She met a group of nine players back then, and they still gather every Thursday to this day. Together they celebrate not just wins on the board, but in life —marriages, graduations, new babies — and they support each other through the moments that tug at the heartstrings. During the pandemic, Mahjong became a lifeline, as Stacey and her group continued to play on Zoom every day, proving that the game can connect us even during challenging times.
